Rupert Bottenberg (19 July 1971, Wolfville, Nova Scotia) is an illustrator, comic artist and writer. He is currently the music editor of the Montreal Mirror newsweekly.[1]
Bottenberg grew up in Montreal. After graduation, and many freelance jobs, he established "Comix Jams, public events centered around collaborative, improvised comic art," a concept that was picked up by many other North American cities.[2] His style of drawing has been called "clean-line" and full of "technical precision."[3]
